ASBESTOS CONSTRUCTION
Ater constant exposure to asbestos in the execution of repairs and renovation contracts in the Education, Industrial and Health sectors, Makhathini Projects acquired the necessary DOL (Department of Labour) accreditation and training to execute the safe removal and disposal of asbestos products.
Asbestos disposal
We at Makhathini Projects make sure that our staff members are medically monitored to ensure that they have not been exposed to any harmful material. This includes exit medicals on completion of the scope of work.
Asbestos Roof Removal
Many buildings were built at a time when asbestos was used, however nowadays, to comply with regulations, these buildings are required to remove the asbestos from the roof to ensure the safety of its workers.
Asbestos contractors
All contractors are certified according to the legislation due to the hazardous work involved in asbestos removal. The contractor’s certification is renewed on an annual basis.
